In Colombia, the ordinary workday is 47 hours per week. With the implementation of Law 2101 of 2021, the workday would be gradually reduced to 42 hours per week. In the case of in-house maids, who are those workers who live where they work, their workday was 60 hours per week. However, with the decision of the Constitutional Court, they will now have a workday of 52.5 hours per week, the implementation of which will also be gradual.
